Free Mental Health First Aid Training supporting complex needs Dec-March 2020
Matt Bentall of Mental Health First Aid writes:
We have been running a series of one hour webinars in collaboration with the NHS and the charity Homeless Link. It is an introductory session on mental health, spotting the signs, having supportive conversations and signposting towards specialist support. There is a particular focus on the homeless community and how covid/mental health have affected them, but it would be relevant to anyone supporting people with complex backgrounds and needs and certainly frontline staff working with young people who may be at risk of homelessness.
If you think this might be useful, please do share with staff, DPs, friends in relevant jobs etc. Next session is tomorrow and we have plenty of space. It is an hour, it is free and it is 100% more fun than emails!
All sessions are 2:15pm and it is always on a Thursday (there are a few weeks off over Christmas). We do ask people to register in advance just so we can keep track of numbers in advance.
